Grand Opening

The 18th Films from the South festival opened on October 9th, with celebrated guests, live music, dance performances and not to mention the brazilian film Another Love Story.

Hadja Tajic, political advisor to the Norwegian prime minister and this years guest of honour, Raoul Peck, both spoke of the theme double identity, double identity being one of many themes presented during the festival. Following the screening of Lucia Murats falvela musical, an original adaption of the traditional story of Romeo and Juliet, the festival audience partied the night away to the sounds of Grupo Sanza and DJ 99.
