The Planet is an engaging documentary which with convincing means explores the environmental issues concerning interaction on Earth. That the interaction between human beings and nature is not in balance is something that human beings have caused and can change. By making "the man in the street" aware of the spreading consequences of the global society’s increasing consumption, the film tries to increase knowledge about what is influencing the system of Earth. It shows systematically and pointedly what changes the future will bring and at which pace. The Planet is a very engaging environment documentary, with impressive background research. A well thought through and thorough film with powerful images and striking music. red.

Personlig likte jeg den heftige produksjonen, bortsett fra at "bombardementet" ble halvtimen for drøyt og den dermed går i sin egen felle - som er et av temaene i filmen; vi reagrer med ignorans og fornektelse når vi presentereres for så skremmende globale fremtidsutsigter.
DESSUTEN: Niende og tiendeklassingene i salen fra Linnerud skole reagerte underveis med å trampe og klappe takten og høylydte kommentarer som "æææsssj" og "ååå sååå søøøt". Kommentarene etter filmen var "drit kjedelig - holdt på å sovne" og "forsto ingenting". Selv et heftig MTV-filmspråk, gjorde tydeligvis ikke filmen mere tilgjengelig for fjortisene.

Tematikken er bra men synes ikke filmen gjorde det godt nok til å representere situasjonen, har sett bedre dokumentarer rundt denne temaet
