A Colombian woman lives through her worst nightmare when she is subjected to a terrible blackmail attempt. With a bomb around her neck she and her family are forced into a struggle against time when they try to remove it. We follow their increasingly desperate search for help in a country ravaged by terrorism.

Filmed in just one long take, without any cutting, this is film art of the highest order, totally without ornamentation. The minimal use of dialogue makes what little is said very powerful, and we see how much that actually lies in a gaze, a hug or a tear. A marvellous portrait of what it means to be human, in all its hope and pain. eyk
