Semaan is last man standing on what used to be a village in the Lebanese mountains. Abandoned during the Lebanese Civil War he continues his life among cows, poultry and old memories. Those who left return at times to work the land, but only Seeman remains when the suns goes down. This rural one-man show provides us with a delightful mix of melancholy and goodhearted humour. Topped with excellent cinematography The One Man Village becomes an unforgettable experience. Lingering yet to the point, it provides both time and space for reflection. red

Kommentarer
