Seen through the eyes of a police officer, Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai is a tale of two gangsters whose lives enter parallel paths as they struggle to rule the city. Set primarily in the 1970's it starts with the rise of Sultan Mirza and his love-affair with the Bollywood actress Rehana. However it doesn't take long before conflict arises, when his protégé Shoaib Khan attempts to become the new "Don". The spectacular production is presented in a retro-chic style and the dialogues flow with poetry and street wisdom, glamorous like only Bollywood can manage. red
