When Adam is forced to resign his job at the hotel in order to save his sons position, the entire family comes into jeopardy. In the background, Chad’s civil war is closing in, and Adam and Abdel must attempt to bridge their differences amid the increasing political turbulence.
The skeleton of the story is simple, but holds both depth and emphasis on human emotions. As before, director Haroun places particular emphasis on the relationship between father and son.
