Symbol is crazy comedy, as crazy as they get. It all begins in northern Mexico where the professional wrestler Escargot Man is about to fight a difficult match. His sister is on her way to see him, speeding along the road in a pick-up, leaving mangled poultry by the wayside. A white feather floats in the air, slowly landing and being absorbed by the floor in front of a Japanese man sleeping in brightly colored pajamas. He wakes just as the feather disappears and finds himself trapped in a white and empty room. He is clueless as to where he is – a divine isolate of sorts, where everything seems to be possible. bb
