AID WORK IN KABUL

Skateistan focuses on a large and partly Norwegian funded skate-park for kids in Kabul. The documentary follows the organization and the kids throughout a whole year in the war-torn capital.

In The Critical Room, we ask how Norwegian and international organizations in the country are working towards the youth who will take over Afghanistan in the future. Director of PRIO Kristian Berg Harpviken will lead a conversation about aid work in Afghanistan. Simon Forster, Country Director for the Afghanistan Committee in Afghanistan, author of the bestselling book Where God Only Comes to Weep (2002) Siba Shakib, Mons Sydnes from the Norwegian Red Cross and a representative from the Norwegian Chirch Aid will join the discussion.
