Deadlines
Deadline for entries 1 July 2012.
No films entering for the festival can be withdrawn after September 1, 2012.
Prints must arrive at the festival office no later than 1 October 2012, or according to written agreements with Print Coordinator.
Entry Restrictions
Main Competition Entries must not be internationally released earlier than August 1, 2011.
Originating from Africa, Asia or Latin America.
Running time no shorter than 70 minutes.
Submission Format
Screening copy must be in 35mm, DCP, DigiBeta format, or according to written agreements with Print Coordinator.
Preview copies must be submitted on DVD/Blu Ray.
Subtitling
Subtitles in English, Norwegian, Swedish or Danish.
If the original version is in any of these languages the film will not require subtitles.
Shipping and Customs
FFS will not pay shipping or customs charges for preview tapes or DVDs. FFS will only pay the shipping and customs charges for prints invited for the festival.
DVDs will not be returned unless an agreement has been made in advance.
FFS will cover outbound costs if the film is sent back to stock and not to another festival.
If film prints arrive too late for official screenings, the festival will not cover screening fee.
The festival office will be collecting prints from 1 August 2012.
