About the film
In 1996, an expedition led by Swedish journalist Erling Söderström ventured into the Amazon to make contact with the isolated and myth-shrouded Korubo people. The grainy VHS footage from the 1990s occasionally calls to mind Werner Herzog’s masterpiece Aguirre, the Wrath of God.
