Conversation between Marie-Clémentine Dusabejambo and The Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs // Ben'Imana
Before the film, director Marie-Clémentine Dusabejambo will speak with Deputy Director General Hege Haaland from the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Ben’Imana has enjoyed tremendous success since its premiere in Cannes, where it won two awards, including the Caméra d’Or for best first feature. It has also become Rwanda’s first-ever Oscar submission. The film received support from the Norwegian fund Sørfond, which is financed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Before the screening, Dusabejambo will talk with Hege Haaland from the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs about the film and why Norway supports film productions around the world through Sørfond.
