Want to watch lots of films at Film From the South?
This is how our punch cards work
This year's festival offers an abundance of exciting films, and we know that many are looking forward to seeing as many as possible. That is why we offer discount cards that let you see large amounts of films for a considerably reduced price.
The cards will be available from October 28th at 4pm, when we release the full festival program and tickets to all screenings.
We offer two variants of the discount card:
10 tickets for 1050 NOK (30% discount per ticket)
20 tickets for 1500 NOK (50% discount per ticket)
Unlike festival passes, the discount cards are not specific to one person, which means that you can withdraw tickets for both yourself and a friend – or the whole family – with the same card.
We know that many audience members miss the festival passes, but the pandemic has been a great strain on the festival and the cinemas. Even though we are gradually moving back to normality, it is clear that neither we nor the cinemas are able to offer festival passes this year. There are financial and practical reasons for this. We thank you for your kind understanding in this instance.
This is how the punch card works:
The card is not specific to one person – bring a friend!
One "punch" equals one ticket
The card can be bought at our screening venues: Oslo Cinematheque, Vega Scene, NFK Vika Cinema and NFK Klingenberg Cinema. Tickets must be redeemed in-person at the cinema.
Unused "punches" can not be used after the festival is over.
Lost cards may not be replaced/refunded.
The card can not be used to withdraw tickets to the screenings of Happy Hour or Exterminate All the Brutes, along with screenings in Kulturkirken Jakob.
The punch card is also useful for businesses and others that want to attend screenings in larger groups. Our standard group discount is 20 % if you buy more than 10 tickets for the same screening. In situations like this, we recommend the punch card for a bigger discount.
Enjoy the festival!
