Festival Pass
Below you will find information about festival passes for the 2026 edition of Films from the South, which takes place from November 5 to 15.
The festival passes are now for sale. This year there are three types of passes: Regular, Student and Industry. The festival passes gives access to all regular screenings in the cinema, and reduced prices for selected screenings and events outside the cinema. There is a limited number of passes for sale, so they can be sold out.

General information on the festival passes
The festival pass grants access to all regular cinema screenings during the festival, but tickets must be reserved for each screening. Film screenings may sell out, so it's a good idea to get your tickets early.
Tickets can be reserved via the websites of Films from the South, Vega Scene, Nordisk Film Kino, and Cinemateket.
Festival passes are non-refundable.
You can reserve only one ticket per screening, and the festival can be used by only one person.
After buying your pass
A purchase confirmation will be sent out within 24 hours of the transaction being made. In this email, you will receive codes used to get your tickets at the various cinemas.
For Cinemateket in Oslo, activation can take up to 48 hours on weekdays after you send your phone number (this is done after you buy the pass), and up to 72 hours on weekends.
How to redeem tickets?
You redeem tickets in the same way for all the three passes. Below you'll find instructions for how to use the pass.
Vega Scene
1. Select the screening.
2. Choose the ticket category belonging to your pass (FFS: Festivalpass 2026/FFS: Studentpass 2026/ FFS: Bransjepass 2026) and one ticket.
3. Enter your card number and PIN code.
4. Enter your mobile number, name, and email address.
5. Complete the transaction.
6. You will receive an SMS with a link to your mobile ticket. This must be shown upon entry to the screening.
Vika, Nordisk Film Kino
1. Select the screening.
2. Choose the ticket category "Festival"(regular- og industry pass) or "Festival Student" (student pass) and one ticket.
3. Click “Next.”
4. Log in to your user account or click “Continue as guest” and enter your mobile number, name, and email address.
5. In the field under “Do you have a coupon?”/"Har du en kupong?", paste the full Nordisk Film Kino code, including FFS.
6. Complete the transaction.
7. You will receive an SMS with a link to your mobile ticket. This must be shown upon entry to the screening.
Cinemateket in Oslo
IMPORTANT INFORMATION: To use your festival pass at Cinemateket, we need to register your phone number. More information about this after purchasing your festival pass.
1. Select the screening.
2. Choose the ticket category “Film fra Sør.”
3. Proceed to payment.
4. Click “I am a member.”
5. Enter your phone number.
6. Enter the verification code sent to your phone.
7. Complete the transaction.
8. You will receive an SMS with a link to your mobile ticket. This must be shown upon entry to the cinema hall.

If I can't use my ticket after all?
If you have a festival pass but is unable to come to the screening, we ask you to refund your ticket. In this way someone else can have the pleasure of taking your seat.
