Use of festival pass
The festival pass is personal and gives free access to all the films during the festival, but tickets have to be collected before the screenings. Screenings may be sold out, so it can be a good idea to book tickets well in advance. It is only possible to collect one ticket per screening.
If you have a festival pass and can’t come to a screening you have booked tickets for we encourage you to return the ticket to the cinema. In this way someone else will have the opportunity to take your place. Many of our screenings are sold out, and we do not wish to have empty seats at sold out screenings.
Refunds or exchange of tickets
We follow the cinemas’ guidelines for refund and exchange of tickets. Contact the cinemas:
Age limits
All films screened at Films from the South have age limits. You can read about them on the film pages on our programme site. Information about age limits in general can be found at Medietilsynet.
Accessability
All the festival cinemas are wheelchair accessible. Contact the cinemas directly if you have any questions.
Subtitles
You can find information about each film’s subtitles on the film page on our program site. Most films at the festival are subtitled in English except for a few exceptions.
Further information
The Films from the South Festival will have information stands in all our cinemas during the festival. Here, our volunteers will help you pick and choose between this year’s festival films and answer any practical questions you may have about the festival.
