Artist Talk: Shahrbanoo Sadat
Before the screening of NO GOOD MEN at Cinemateket in Oslo, Friday November 6, director Shahrbanoo Sadat will be present for an Artist Talk.
No Good Men is the festival's opening film. To mark the occasion, we are also screening Sadat’s two previous films, Wolf and Sheep and The Orphanage. In this conversation, she delves deeper into her filmography.

About the film
Afghanistan, 2021, right before the Taliban reclaims power. Naru, the only female camera operator at a TV station in Kabul, fights to keep custody of her son. After leaving her chronically cheating husband, she is convinced there are no good men in her country. So she is surprised when an important TV journalist offers her a job. As they crisscross the city to report on the last days of freedom, sparks fly between them, and she starts doubting her own conviction.
