FUNK // Special screening and club at Trekanten
On Saturday, November 7th, we invite you to an evening at Trekanten with the screening of the film FUNK, followed by a DJ set by Reyes Santiago Rojas.
There are no borders when it comes to dancing.
This time when Reyes steps behind the turntables, he takes you on a musical journey through Brazilian carioca funk and other sounds from this diverse, Latin-American country, along with Colombian tropical folklore Afrobeat, dembow, and reggaeton. A mix of rhythms made to wake up your hips.
Reyes is a Colombian visual artist and a melomaniac who searches for, collects, and curates hot music: mestizo rhythms and pure Latin flow.
Psychedelic cumbia, rebajada cumbia, and pure cumbia, from the Caribbean to the Amazon. Ritmos cariocas salsa and bullerengue, musical rarities, curious sounds, and fresh new music. From the heights of the Andes to the heat of the Caribbean and Pacific coasts. Reyes has got it, and we’re going to dance together into the November night.
