Tango Lessons at Cinemateket
Before the screening of TANGO at Cinemateket in Oslo, there will be a tango class from 4:30 pm.
Tango – passionate dance from Buenos Aires. The most beautiful partner dance in the world.
In this class you'll learn what you need to throw yourself onto the dance floor. The ABCs of tango. After the class, you can catch the 1998 classic Tango in Tancred. The film starts at 5:30 pm. After the film, there will be a milonga – Buenos Aires style – in Lemongrass on the ground floor.
About the film
Jealousy, desire and brutality are the ingredients of this pulsating tango film from the 90s. The film follows Mario, who has just been left by his wife, and starts making a film about tango with her in the lead role.
The event is free and open to everyone, even if you're not seeing the film.
