Bar, El Chino

Martina works as an editor for a TV company. She decides to make a documentary about the legendary bar El Chino, also said to have been the cradle of tango. Then she meets 47-year-old Jorge, who worked on a similar project but had to let it go as a result of financial problems. Jorge falls in love with Martina, who persuades him to take up the project he once left. The film is a colourful montage of authentic documentary footage, tango and music, and with Argentina's economical and social crisis of 2001 as a parallel narrative.
