Duck Season

In his first feature film award-winning director Eimbcke presents a film about being young and on the doorstep to adulthood. Expressive images in black and white, funky music and intense dialogue are techniques he has previously used in his work for the music industry. The story revolves around two teenage boys killing time on a Sunday with pizza and computer games. The boys have little or no previous acting experience and impress with their honesty. Emerging love and friendship the dominant themes is told with humour and soul. The film was screened during this year's "International Critics Week" in Cannes.
