Half Moon is a quiet and beautiful odyssey accompanied by marvellous nature photography and exquisite music. Mamo is a renowned and beloved musician from Iraqi Kurdistan. After several years of exile, he has finally been granted an entry permit from Iran to Iraq. On the way the bus picks up ten of his sons and a mysterious woman. Their goal is a big concert, the first one after the fall of Saddam. But along the way, obstacles wait of both a political and fateful nature, concerning human as well as geographic borders.
