Lost in Beijing

In the Beijing metropolis there unfolds a modern and playful drama. The young couple An Kun and Ping-guo live in a poor area but lead a good and safe life. While An Kun works as a window cleaner, his wife Ping-guo has a job in a splendid foot massage salon. One night when the frustrated Ping-guo passes out from drinking, an unpleasant triangular love drama starts that sets off a spiral of events. Showing the contrast between a young and a middle-aged couple, the film humorously explores serious issues like rape and childlessness as well as regular marital problems like desire, jealousy and infidelity. kk
