About Crying

A minimalistic and intense drama truly capturing the doubts, fears, lies and silence that exist in all of us. About Crying follows two lovers living in Barcelona during the course of one night as their relationship is gradually ending. Vera and Alejandro have decided to spend one last night together before they split up and go their separate ways. As the film opens, they share a meal in silence. The silence continues as they walk out into the night. Gradually they begin to face each other’s decisions and doubts, as well as their own, as they come to terms with the consequences of ending their relationship. The transition from silence to true communication is told in a minimalistic yet poignant style. The city of Barcelona works as a symbolic backdrop as Vera and Alejandro move through the streets from the highest point of the city down to the sea. About Crying explores the hidden feelings that eventually emerge in the dissolution of the couple.
