Night Fishing
A ghostly South Korean short film that oozes of dark spirituality. Shrouded in the fog on the banks of the river Han, a supernatural scene unfolds. Oh Gi-suk is out fishing in solitude. As the night falls he makes a grotesque discovery: the dead body of a woman has become entangled in his fishing lines. The line between the natural and the supernatural is abruptly erased as the woman gets up and takes command over the terrified Gi-suk. She seems to know him and his situation disturbingly well, and leaves him no choice but to confront his own murky past. kej
