Shooting Poverty
Shooting Poverty is produced by the charity organisation Oxfam International. The three-part film takes us to Burundi, Rio de Janeiro and India to meet with people living in poverty in areas where weapons and arms trade is a natural part of life. We meet Norwegian producer Øistein Moskvil Thorsen, Borghild Tønnesen Krokan from Forum for Environment and Development and Hilde Wallacher from PRIO to talk about poverty and arms trade, with emphasis on Brazil. An important question to examine is what Norway is doing to stop this huge industry.
