Clandestine Childhood
Captivating coming-of-age drama. Juan is 11 years old when his family returns to Argentina from exile in Cuba. They are wanted by the military regime for political activities, and have to use false identities to stay hidden. Juan just wants a normal childhood, where he can go to school and fall in love with girls, but that is impossible when his parents are part of the resistance. Against his will, he gets dragged into politics. Clandestine Childhood captures you from the first frame, thanks to the intensity of the performances and gripping storytelling. kt
