Brother and Sister

Family relations can be challenging. Especially when your sister is a manipulating and egoistic fraud. When their mother dies, Susana, a single woman in her 50s, tries to the limits of her capacity to control Marcos' life. She has an unappeasable need for his care, because her loneliness embraces her to the extent that insanity almost takes over. However, her strategy to sell their late mother's apartment and force him to move to Uruguay does not seem to have the intended effect. Marcos and Susana are both alone. They need each other, while at the same time they despise each other. Brother and Sister show us, with much humour, Marcos' confrontation with the two women in his life, his mother and his sister, and his attempt to liberate himself from their dominance. sv
