Club Sandwich
Fifteen year old Hector and his mother Paloma is on vacation at a hotel. It is off season and they have the hotel, the pool and the restaurant to themselves. When young Jazmin appears, their holiday takes a new turn.
Silence is the key ingredient in this film. Few words are exchanged between the characters. The silence between Hector and his mother is natural, it is sexually latent between Hector and Jazmin, and desperate and awkward when all three of them are together. Hector is torn between his mother, with whom he has a close relationship, and Jazmin who has awoken new feelings in him. They are like his favorite dish, a club sandwich. ahm
