iNumber Number (2013) is best described as a South African Reservoir Dogs (1992). A big heist is going down and a young cop is on the inside of it all. Together with his partner, Chili has so far stayed on the right side of the law. But the chance to make easy money is suddenly very tempting and he's considering joining the gang for real and running off with his cut. Of course, things are never that easy and Chili will have to fight the suspicions of the gang as well as his own principles. You will not get the huge sets or the massive car chases, but iNumber Number gives you a classic, high-pace heist film that follows the genre rules for better or worse, with an entertaining result. eg

Donovan Marsh has worked in the South African TV and film industry since 1992. Among other things, he has directed the hit comedy Spud (2010), with John Cleese in one of the leading roles. iNumber Number is his first action film. Not surprisingly he lists Quentin Tarantino and Martin Scorsese as sources of inspiration.
