Patema Inverted
Princess Patema and schoolboy Eiji live in two worlds on a planet divided by forces of nature. Patema's people have been forced underground since the gravitational pull is reversed and threatens to cast them into space. Eiji lives in a society ruled by an authoritarian regime on the planet's surface.
The two societies have lost contact with each other, and the surface government explains the divide as God's punishment of the underground denizens' sins. When Patema and Eiji suddenly find each other face to face, it is perceived as a great threat to the status quo, and our two young heroes must literally hold on to each other as they fight oppression, bigotry and increasingly complex laws of nature. htb
