The Mystery of Happiness
Santiago and Eugenio own a small electrical shop together, and have worked there for the last 30 years. They are not only business partners, but also best friends. Their habits and routines have become completely identical: They drive to work side by side in similar cars, work in identical offices, order the same lunch, and eat it in an identical manner. They always laugh at the same jokes and they never have an argument. The only thing that sets them apart is that Eugenio has a wife and Santiago is alone.
One day Eugenio suddenly disappears. Santiago becomes determined to find his best friend, and together with Eugenio's wife Laura he tries to locate Eugenio. In their search for Eugenio, Laura gradually takes over Eugenio's place in Santiago's life. This is a charming and poignant film about midlife crisis, relationships and forgotten dreams. ahm
