Pokémon: The Movie 2000 - The Power of One
The wicked pokémon collector Lawrence III has a sinister plan as he floats above Orange Islands. If he can control the three mighty pokémon ArticUNO (ice), ZapDOS (lightning) and MolTRES (fire) he can wake the slumbering legendary Lugia, aka "Beast of the Sea". His greed and ambition to control the elements have created disturbances in the fragile ecological balance of the Orange Islands, and climate change is causing problems worldwide. Someone must stop the madness, and the locals in the archipelago, the spiritual guide Slowking and all the world's pokémon turn to our man Ash, who is declared to be the Chosen One. Ash must prevent Lawrence III from gaining control of Lugia. If the power-hungry pokémon collector succeeds with his evil plan, he will rule the world.
