Little Kirikou is a very special boy. One capable, indeed, of coming out of his mother’s womb on his very own! Very soon, Kirikou is ready to face great dangers, including the one imminently facing his little African village. An evil sorceress, it seems, has cast a spell on them: the wells have dried up, the village is raided by plunderers and the sorceress Karaba has been eating up all of the village’s men. To rid them of the spell once and for all, the wise little Kirikou decides to find the sorceress to ask her, simply: why are you so evil?

Join Kirikou in his adventure through a fantastical world, full of beauty, humor and magic. A lovely humanistic tale of courage and understanding, Kirikou and the Sorceress has since its release come to be considered as a masterpiece of children’s animation, to be enjoyed by all age groups. This print has been dubbed in Norwegian.
