Manta Ray is a tour de force in mysterious atmospheric scenes, set in a small village by the sea where thousands of Rohingya refugees have drowned. When a fisherman finds a badly injured man in a nearby forest, he takes care of him and gives him the name Thongchai. Although the stranger stays speechless, a friendship between the two men begins. But when the fisherman disappears, Thongchai starts to behave like his rescuer, both in physical appearance and in actions. What will happen if the fisherman returns?
