9-year old Jo is obsessed with super heroes, and she daydreams about being one. But unlike most kids her age, Jo is very ill and has been committed to a hospital. When her mother learns that Jo is not going to make it much longer, she takes her daughter home, so she can spend the rest of her life close to her family.

The walls of Jo's bedroom is covered with super hero posters that is encouraging to a certain degree, but fighting the disease is not always easy. To comfort and inspire her, her big sister Mwix wants to turn Jo into a super hero alter ego called Supa Modo. With the help of the rest of the village, reality and fantasy merge so that Jo suddenly has super powers – she can move objects around and stop time!

Supa Modo is a love letter to the imaginative power of film. The scenes where Jo's friends and family do everything they can to make her dreams come true, will make you smile, cry, and laugh all at the same time. PEG
