Atlantic Rhapsody

When supermarket clerk Ding Mao one day boils the store's ornamental shark alive, his day spins out of control.

A short time later, he hears a mysterious voice urging him to travel to his hometown in Northeast China to look for his father, whom he has not seen in 20 years. During this journey, he begins to piece together his father's bizarre life through encounters with eccentric characters. This is a poignant, ambitious, and strikingly beautiful surrealist drama.
