A Japanese ghost story of the best kind!
The young medium Ariel travels to an old hotel in the countryside to help the owners get rid of a ghost before the hotel reopens. The hunt for the ghost involves both time travel and a person from Ariel's close family. An unsettling atmosphere gradually builds, reminiscent of The Conjuring films. The film also gives a far more satisfying ending than the related Hokum, which played in cinemas earlier this year.
