Cinemas in Oslo are closing
Cinemas in Oslo are closed from November 9. We will return with more information about the 30th Films from the South festival.
Dear audiences,
As Oslo goes into a lockdown, so does the cinemas. Films from the South is schedules to be held from November 26 to December 6, with the cinemas as our main venues. So far, we know that all of the cinemas in Oslo will be shut down from November 9, for at least three weeks to come. We don’t have any further information at this point.
We respect these measures, and we are of course willing to do our part of this great effort to prevent contagion in our city. But, naturally, we are also sorry that this will lead to changes for the 30th edition of Film from the South. We will return with more information about what the consequences are for the 2020 edition of the festival as soon as we have made concrete decisions.
