For sixty years, Japanese animator and director Hayao Miyazaki has captivated audiences worldwide with his magical, detailed, and multifaceted storytelling. Nature – and the fragile balance between the environment and humankind – is a recurring theme throughout many of his films. Before the screening of the documentary Miyazaki – Spirit of Nature, we invite you to a conversation about Miyazaki and a theme that has only grown more relevant over the course of his career. The podcast Radio Ghibli hosts the conversation in collaboration with Cinema Neuf.
