30 minutes on Brazilian wine
Join us on a wine journey to Brazil on Friday 6 November!
Before the screening of Isabel, set in a wine bar in São Paulo, sommelier Liora Levi takes us on a half-hour introduction to Brazilian wine. Expect insights into the country’s wine production, exciting grapes and regions, and why Brazil is a wine country worth keeping an eye on.
The perfect warm-up for a film in which wine plays a central role!
Liora Levi is a well-known name in the Norwegian wine world, with the titles Best Sommelier in Norway and Best Sommelier in the Nordics on her CV – which suggests she has tasted a fair bit of wine in her time! As former president of the Norwegian Sommelier Association and through her work for the international sommelier organisation ASI, she has built an extensive network in the wine industry. Today she heads the global ambassador network at Star Wine List and organises the international wine list competition Star Wine List of the Year. She is also a wine writer and TV host, known from God morgen Norge and the award-winning series Wine First on Altibox and PBS, among others.
With an infectious enthusiasm for wine and the people behind it, Liora is happiest when meeting others who share her passion for food and wine – ideally with a glass in hand.
