About the film
When witches turn 13, they have to leave home, become independent and discover what abilities they truly have. One full-moon night, Kiki climbs onto her broom and, together with her talking cat Jiji, sets off into the wide world as a flying courier. The story of the young witch Kiki is based on a popular Japanese children’s book by Eiko Kadono. With gorgeous animation and engaging storytelling, Kiki’s Delivery Service is one of Studio Ghibli’s most beloved films.
