About the film
Taliban's return five years ago removed every trace of women's rights in Afghanistan. In a society where half the country has lost the right to work, education, and freedom of expression, a small group of young girls forms a reading circle inspired by Anne Frank's fate.
The event is done in collaboration with the Norwegian Afghanistan Committee and Ten Thousand Images.
