Flow: For Love of Water is as the title indicates a film about water. In many countries water is a scarce commodity. When such an important resource as water no longer is readily avaliable, some large multinational companies spot an opportunity to get rich – the water services are privatised. In this documentary director Irena Salina takes us to a few countries in the south, like Bolivia, South Africa and India where large parts of the population are denied access to clean drinking water. In our meetings with the locals, the importance of a stable water supply is put into perspective. Flow: for Love of Water carries the message that water will not be a free resource in the future. Clean water cannot be taken for granted. red.
