Marianne Eydes last feature so far is a complex love story. The film provides a close and interesting look into a traditional culture where the coca plant has been present for thousands of years. International drug trafficking is wreaking havoc on the original traditions, founded on different values than capital. Yet poverty forces the farmers to continue to grow the coca plant, and as a result get caught in the crossfire between authorities and drug lords. id
