In Another Country
A vibrant, warm and witty feature about seeking some of the most profound things in life.
One by one, three French women who don’t exist come to Mohang. They are merely products of a young film student’s imagination. She and her mother have come to the quiet seaside resort in an attempt to escape debt collectors. Searching for a suitable outlet for her frustration, the daughter sits down to work on a script – or rather several. The French women, all called Anne, star in their own story. One is a successful director, the other an unfaithful housewife, and the third a newly divorced woman. But they all have one thing in common: they come to this unlikely place seeking adventure, love, or answers, and end up finding something unexpected. kej
