My Stolen Revolution nett

A portrait of Iranian revolutionaries, 30 years later. Nahid Sarvestani fled from Iran when she was 20 years old. Her brother was arrested, tortured, and later executed by Khomeini’s regime. In a search for the truth about what really happened to her brother before the execution, Nahid meets up with five fellow activists from the 70’s. This meeting frightens and scares Nahid. The activists, who fought the same struggle 30 years ago, now struggle to find common ground. My Stolen Revolution is a fascinating portrait of activists on the losing side of a revolution, and a close and intimate tale of Iran in the 70’s. kt
