Along With The Gods: The Two Worlds
Kim Ja-Hong, a firefighter, dies unexpectedly when rescuing a child from a fire. He is greeted by three guardians from the underworld who are assigned to take him through 7 trials to see if he is worthy of being reincarnated. Along With the Gods is a epic fantasy drama that became the second most watched film of all time in South-Korean cinemas. With its strong emotional core and discussion of values such as remorse, forgiveness, and sacrifice, it also recalls American classics such as It’s a Wonderful Life and A Christmas Carol.
