Excursion
In Sarajevo, a teenager seeking validation claims that she had sex for the first time during a game of «truth or dare» among middle schoolers. Trapped in her own lie, she invents a pregnancy and becomes the center of a controversy that spirals out of control.
Director
Una Gunjak is a film director from Bosnia and Herzegovina. She studied in Italy and the United Kingdom, earning a Master's degree in editing at the National Film and TV School. She directed her first short film, The Chicken, in 2014. The film premiered at over 300 festivals worldwide. Excursion is her feature film debut and premiered at Locarno in 2023.
