Anika can communicate with animals and makes a living by offering this service to desperate pet owners across the Argentine countryside.

The couple Roger and Myriam travel around Argentina in a worn-out camper van together with Anika. Whether her abilities are real or not remains uncertain, but the encounters along the way bring peace of mind to the pet owners they meet. The Message unfolds through quiet, poetic moments with people living in remote communities and is more concerned with atmosphere and memory than with traditional narrative – all accompanied by a fantastic soundtrack.
