The residents of Tokyo has to stand together in the fight against Godzilla in Post-War Japan.
Towards the end of the Second World War, the kamikaze pilot Kōichi lands at a military base on Odo Island. A large monster attacks the base, leaving Kōichi as the only survivor. After the war, and back in a ruined Tokyo, he struggles with survival's guilt. Then Godzilla returns and attacks the city – now mutated after being subjected to radiation. Without any military or authorities to help, the city's residents must take matters into their own hands and fight the massive monster.
Godzilla Minus One is the 37th film in the popular franchise and was met with an rave critical reception and several awards upon its premiere in 2023.
The film is screened on the Godzilla Day, November 3rd.
