Karim Daoud Anaya
Karim Daoud Anaya began his artistic journey by jumping across rooftops in the West Bank city of Qalqilya, where parkour became a way to move beyond walls — both real and imagined. What began as an act of resistance and freedom evolved into a language of expression. He was featured in the documentary Qalqilya: Where Palestinian Boys Are Learning How to Fly, which captured the underground youth and skate scene in Qalqilya. In 2016, he moved to Berlin and joined the Maxim Gorki Theater ensemble, where he has been active in theater ever since.
Palestine 36 marks his transition to screen acting, in his debut film performance.
